So it begins…
…again

The crypt doors have swung open, and my freshly redesigned horror website has finally crawled out into the moonlight. After months of tinkering, tweaking, and muttering to myself like a Victorian scientist in a basement, the new branding is alive – stitched together with sharper visuals, cleaner navigation, and just enough menace to feel like home.

But that doesn’t mean there still isn’t work to do…

A mysterious handprint on a fogged glass surface illuminated by eerie blue light creates a dark, moody atmosphere.

Where are all the pages?

You can probably tell that it’s bare bones at the moment. I still have to cover the basics – like an about me page, a place to list the podcasts I’ve been on, and what about my books? Where are my books? Things are still missing…

…there is still a lot to do.

Dynamic macro shot capturing a matchstick ignited with vivid flames and swirling smoke.

Why burn it all down?

While deciding the rebrand and establish wordsthatbleed, it was clear that everything needed to be built again from the ground up. The last website was hardly perfect and the colour scheme was more Friday Night than Fright Night.

There are ideas that need my attention.

What’s next?

Therein lies the question. With the foundation now built, I have the ability to explore new ideas. Merch? A library of stories ready for narrators to use? wordsthatbleed can be anything and that is the point.

I’m excited about what comes next.

The important thing to remember is this isn’t the final form – this is the foundation.

There are more features to build, more content to add, and more ways to shape this space into something that truly reflects the stories I want to tell. But for now, I’m proud of the direction it’s heading. If you’ve been following my work for a while, I hope you’ll feel the shift. If you’re new here, welcome – there’s plenty more coming.

Every creative project evolves, and this site is no different. It’s a reminder that progress doesn’t have to be dramatic to be meaningful. One step at a time, one improvement at a time, the whole thing grows. And that’s the part worth celebrating – the momentum, the movement, and the promise of what’s still ahead.

If you’ve been with me this far, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Each listener, each comment – every person who reads, purchases a book, or listens to one of my stories is a gift – one which I will never stop being thankful for.
